Care at Home Rozina Sayani is a care-at-home provider and runs her own company known as Bluebird Care Northampton and Daventry. Her company offers "a realistic cost effective alternative to residential care". She is also looking to recruit care workers in the Sibbertoft area. Daventry District Council have advised that the weekly textile collections are currently suspended and will start again in the autumn. Meanwhile an appointment system has been put in place for residents wishing to request a textile collection and it will be collected within four working days. Neighbourhood Watch The telephone number for non-emergency calls has changed. From 17th October the number to use is 101. Use this number to report crime and other concerns that do not require an emergency response. You will be able to call 101 to report a crime that has already happened and any other incidents that do not require an emergency response. You can also use it to speak to the local Safer Community Team, to make a general enquiry or make the police aware of any issues in your area. 999 should still be used in an emergency, such as when a crime is happening, someone suspected of a crime is nearby, someone is injured, being threatened or a life is at risk or there is a traffic incident involving personal injury or danger. | Annual Litter Pick ![]() This year's litter pick will take place on Sunday the 4th March. Broadband The Parish Council is contacting other parishes on the Husbands Bosworth exchange to help put pressure on the relevant bodies (BT, MHDC, LCC) to introduce "Superfast Broad" in our area as soon as possible. Look out for an LCC questionaire which will be circulated shortly. Your response is needed. Watch this space ....... |
Queen's Diamond Jubilee A street party is planned for Tuesday 5th June. More details will follow nearer the time. Meanwhile, the Parish Council has puchased a quantity of commemorative mugs to be given to each child under the age of 12 who lives in the village. Please let the Parish Clerk know how many you will require. The mugs will be distributed during the week of the celebrations. |
